Hey everyone! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. So, I have always been fascinated by the whole miracle of the birth process and always wondered what I could do as a career to be part of the birth team. Well, I took a CNA class once…yeah, definitely not the line of work for me, haha!
I have also always had a passion for capturing still photos and video for as long as I can remember. When I first found out that “Birth Photography” existed, I could not believe my ears! Two of my passions mixed into one beautiful, fulfilling occupation! I have now been a professional birth photographer for over 6 years. In that time, I became the first full time birth photographer in the Southern Utah area. In the beginning I really had to help educate the community there of the importance of preserving those precious memories. It picked up rather quickly, so I ended up having the need to hire and train a few photographers who could shoot births under me to be able to provide a quality service to more of the local families than I could do all on my own. It was through this journey that I discovered another passion of mine. I also love to teach! I sincerely enjoy training and educating others and watching them grow and progress.
Aside from my love of all things birth, photography & teaching, I have a beautiful family that I love and adore! I am blessed with a very supportive husband and four adorable, crazy, fun loving children! My oldest, Marshae is 8, followed by her identical twin brothers Malakai & McKade who are 6. The baby of the family, Kaysen is 1 year old already! Gosh, it goes by so quickly. So, this is why birth stories (and photos in general) are so important, right?! Hopefully you enjoyed learning a little about myself and my family. Looking forward to getting to know you and yours as well!
